私たちの生きる世界は、人間が作った社会の中で生活しながら自然と共存している。

科学技術の発展が著しくたくさんの情報が交錯する、そんな現代に生きる私たちは、

目まぐるしく変わっていく状況に敏感に反応して対応し、 時には目を瞑り、耳を塞ぎ、取り巻く環境から距離を置く。

そんな生活を送る中で、 個が自然に感じる刹那的で、繊細で、複雑な心象の変化に耳を傾けることさえも忘れそうになる。

その些細な感情を汲み取り、感情が放つエネルギーを木に宿して制作しています。

趣味のダンスの経験から複雑な心象を人間の身体で表現することにこだわり、 人間をモチーフにした彫刻の可能性を探る。

We coexist with nature in society.
In an age of science and technology, we live in a flood of information. Situations change rapidly, so we sometimes take time, block out what we see and hear to escape from reality. In our hasty life, we tend to ignore slight change of feelings of ourselves.
Distress of living in modern society is my source of creation. I express emotions that come naturally though we tend to miss through art.

Trees live long on Earth with energy from the environment. When we imagine the years of time for a tree to grow, we can forget the speed of our daily lives. I carve wood in our shapes so we can recall the toughness and nature within the material and us.
Sometimes the limbs are stretched out, and at other times they are in discomfort. The shapes will show the ubiquitous emotions of people no matter what changes or upheavals we face.
